Hier ein Test zwischen Brera, VW R32 und den Mazda RX 8. Der Brera gewinnt. Die englischen Journalisten wählten den Brera auf Platz 1 hauptsächlich aus emotionalen Gründen.

Interesting also the judgment: the Brera turns out winning the English journalists signals it like "choice Our" between the three. Not for technological excellence, even, not for the times in track, but for emotional reasons. And although nonexistent places come some signal to you vary defects to you ("behind, plancia too much similar to the 159, excessive tendency to ' copiare' the road"), the Brera "makes to feel well" and strikes is the RX-8 ("too much soft and little it moves them") and the R32 ("little sport for an car from 250 cv"). And, like all the subjective judgments, unavoidablly it will trigger controversies. Disomogenea ma interessante: una hatchback tre porte/trazione integrale, contro una coupè 2+2 a trazione anteriore, contro una berlina/coupè a 4 porte e trazione posteriore. Interessante anche il giudizio: la Brera risulta vincente i giornalisti inglesi la segnalano come "Our choice" tra le tre. Non per eccellenza tecnologica, magari, non per i tempi in pista, ma per ragioni emotive. E nonostante ne vengano segnalati svariati difetti ("posti dietro inesistenti, plancia troppo simile alla 159, eccessiva tendenza a 'copiare' la strada"), la Brera "fa sentire bene" e batte sia la RX-8 ("troppo morbida e poco emozionale") e la R32 ("poco sportiva per un auto da 250 cv"). E, come tutti i giudizi soggettivi, inevitabilmente scatenerà polemiche.
